Chiefs or Eagles?įeel like shaking a leg? There will be a swing dancing event at Arkansas Air & Military Museum on Saturday night. There’s a little football match happening on Sunday called the Super Bowl that maybe y’all have heard of. The Arkansas women also play in town this weekend, as they take on Missouri at 2 p.m. The Hogs are coming off a big win versus Kentucky, but Mississippi State is also on a bit of a winning streak. How about some sports? The Arkansas men’s basketball team takes on Mississippi State at 5 p.m. The show was originally scheduled for last week, but was rescheduled due to the weather. TheatreSquared has another hit on their hands with the adaptation of “Kim’s Convenience.” The show was recently extended through Feb. John Misty include The Fleet Foxes, which he was formally the drummer for, Car Seat Headrest and Big Thief. They’re actually performing the show next week as well. Walton Arts Center has a Broadway show with Moulin Rouge playing all weekend. George’s has another big show on Saturday with Oklahoma City brass band, King Cabbage. The band also recently announced they’ll be playing some dates with former Fayettevillian, Lucinda Williams, which is kind of a cool connection. First off, acclaimed indie rock band Big Thief will play their first-ever show in Fayetteville on Friday night at George’s. It’s a pretty good week for entertainment in Fayetteville. We don’t even want to type this out loud after the week we had last week, but feels like we need to say that there is a chance of snow on Friday again, and if that happens, it’s probably best to double check on any of the events listed below before heading out. ![]()
